He is survived by: his parents, Ron Wambach and Irene Wambach; his son Aaron Wambach (Lucy); his siblings, Bob Wambach (Robin), Jean Wambach, Laurie Tamblyn (Mark), Terrie Morrical (Jay), Susan Urban (Ken), Mike Wambach and Joe Wambach (Michele); his stepmother Sharon Wambach; and his stepbrothers, John Rydzik (Mindi), Paul Rydzik and Nick Rydzik (Rachael).
