He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcell Kerkman and Coletta Kerkman; his daughter Angela Edwards; his brothers, Ronald Kerkman and Roger Kerkman (Gayle); and his in-laws, Paul and Millie Lamping.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lamping; his daughters, Jodi Podella (Michael), Kristine Davidson (Paul) and Raquel Kerkman (Brad Wasielewski); his son-in-law Richard Edwards; his grandchildren, Luke Podella (Tarrah), Carli Podella, Austin Podella, Bryce Edwards, Rebecca Edwards, Hannah Donaho (Conor) and Elijah Scheckel; his sister Jean Lois (Robert); and his sister-in-law Sue Kerkman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
