He was predeceased by: his parent Jewel Gerth; his grandson Miles; his father-in-law Art Yanke; and his brothers-in-law, Scott Yanke and Mike Zivkovich.
He is survived by: his father Gerald Gerth; his wife Mona Yanke; his children, Justin Gerth, Kevin Gerth (Kayla) and Taylor Gerth; his grandchildren, Jace, Raelyn, Peyton, Jaxon and Ellie; his sisters, Cathy Gerth (Jack Thomas) and Tammy Maytum (Dan); his siblings-in-law, Lynn Zivkovich, Jef Yanke and Dawn Yanke (Paul Danielson); his nieces and nephews, Brandon Maytum, Jeremy Maytum (Amber) and Linsey Maytum (Jim Poser); and his caregiver Brittany. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
