He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Poepping and Helen Poepping; his sister Judith Dorn; his siblings-in-law, Warren "Skeet" McCown and Julie Poepping; and his great-nephew Cody Dorn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara McCown, Charles Poepping (Regina) and Kenneth Poepping; his brother-in-law Douglas Dorn Sr.; and his nieces and nephews, Janette, Michele, Debra, Douglas Jr., Aimee, Peter, Sara, Joshua, Jodi, Michael, David and Steven.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home (625 Browns Lake Dr, Burlington, WI 53105). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Western Kenosha County.
