With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Laskowski of Burlington, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2026 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Bassett and Mary Bassett; her husband Lawrence S. Laskowski of Joseph's Church; and her brother Richard Bassett. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeffrey Getka Sydney Getka (Cassidy), Mikayla Getka, Lauren Laskowski and Samantha Laskowski; her children, Laurie Getka (Tom) of West Bend, WI and John Laskowski (Emma) of Winter Park, FL; and her siblings, Joan Blatnik (Richard), David Bassett, Nancy Thompson (Kramer), Lorraine Stelling (Thomas), Patricia Brzezinski (Roy) and Robert Bassett. She is also survived by grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
