She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Gilbert and Ruth Gilbert; her siblings, Joanne, Mary Ann Gilbert and Richard Gilbert; and her mother-in-law Dorothy Twardokus.

She is survived by: her husband Carl A. Twardokus; her children, Beth Guenther (Scott), Carl J. Twardokus (Kristin), Tracy Hawkinson (Dale) and Shelly Ann Laing (Mike); her grandchildren, Andrew Twardokus (Courtney), Caleb, Joshua, Elisha Guenther, Bryce, Paityn Twardokus, Colten, Aiden, Landyn, Weston, Kenton Hawkinson, Luke and Hallie Laing; her great grandchildren, Esther, Gabriel and Ruth Twardokus; her father-in-law Carl E. Twardokus; and her sisters, Jean Hoeft (Ross), Glenna Gilbert and Kelly Bennett (Greg). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many dear family members and friends.

Even in her passing, she continued to give, choosing to donate what she could, so that others might find healing and new life.
