She was predeceased by: her parents, Jinda Lahfahroengron and Luang Lahfahroengron. She is survived by: her husband Russ; her children, Susanne Barnet (Tom) and Mike Thiede (Heidi); her grandchildren, Madi (Jacob), Tori, Owen, Riley, Kensington, Abby and Brandon (Katie); and her great grandchild Stella. She is also survived by three sisters; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, where Kanda was baptized 30 years ago, worshiped with her family, and served as a member of the Ladies Quilting Club.
