It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Alan Ensslin (Butler, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Ensslin and June Ensslin (Wendorf); his wife Kathy Ensslin (Kolasinski); his children, Jeffrey, Amy Ensslin (Meyer), Jill (Ensslin), Jeff Bailey and Julie Ensslin (Dan Demler); his granddaughters, Ileana, Anna Ensslin, Grace, Ruby and Violet Bailey; his sister Donna (Ensslin); and his sister-in-law Patti (Kolasinski). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to the family, who will make a donation in Rick's name to St. Agnes Church and the Friends of the Butler Library.
