He was predeceased by: his father Bill Cornell; and his brothers, Kent and Robert. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Cornell; his wife Nancy; his daughters, Denean Burkett (Jeff), Denise LaGesse (Brian), Jennifer Walz (Luke) and Stephanie Gottbehuet (Brad); his stepmother Marge Cornell; and his siblings, Mary Kim, Jay, Michael and Christopher. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Cadott Methodist Church (257 N Maple St, Cadott, WI 54727).
