He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Nelson and Clifford Nelson; and his daughter Melissa Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Alzada Ann Erickson; his children, Alzada Oemig (Terry), Donald Nelson (Treya) and Cynthia Nelson (Skyler Johnson); his grandchildren, Lucas, Alzada Bourget, Gretta Oemig, Franklin, Lacey Nelson, Rylee Schlageter and Hazel Johnson; his sisters, Marie Anderson (Wayne), Roberta Leidl (Eugene) and Lori Siddons; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Erickson (Marquita), Jim Erickson (Mary) and Kristine Armstrong (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
