In loving memory of Edward John Nelson of Cadott, Wisconsin, who departed this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 74. Edward leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Nelson and Clifford Nelson; and his daughter Melissa Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Alzada Ann Erickson; his children, Alzada Oemig (Terry), Donald Nelson (Treya) and Cynthia Nelson (Skyler Johnson); his grandchildren, Lucas, Alzada Bourget, Gretta Oemig, Franklin, Lacey Nelson, Rylee Schlageter and Hazel Johnson; his sisters, Marie Anderson (Wayne), Roberta Leidl (Eugene) and Lori Siddons; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Erickson (Marquita), Jim Erickson (Mary) and Kristine Armstrong (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Leiser Funeral Home (511 N Main St, Cadott, WI 54727). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Lutheran Church (28 E Columbia St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
