With sadness, we share the passing of Evelyn A. Nelson of Cadott, Wisconsin. Evelyn, born on August 11, 1941, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Clouse and Pearl Clouse. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Nelson; her daughter Melissa Steiger (Geoffrey); her grandchildren, Emily Steiger (Dustin Hall), William Steiger (Abbie), Sarah Steiger and Natalie Steiger (Alex Moran); her sisters, Carol Jaenke and Norma Jaenke; her siblings-in-law, Karen Semmelhack (James), Beverly Halmar, Vivian Swanson (Vernon) and Richard Nelson (Sandee); her siblings, Bonnie Denzer (Marlen) and Frank Clouse; and her in-laws, Arlene, Raymond Nelson, James Jaenke, Dennis Jaenke and Mark Halmar.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (215 Seminary St, Cadott, WI 54727). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
