He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Smith and Rose Smith (Sipple); and his siblings, Lawrence "Snuffy" Smith and Virginia Culver. He is survived by: his wife Emma Smith (Greene); and his children, Darrell Smith (Bonnie), Scot Smith (Penny), Cindy Ludwig (Ken) and Rose Johnson (John Martin). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and also by several nieces and nephews.
