He was predeceased by: his parents, Nils and Lillian; his spouse Claire J. Brown; and his siblings, Carol Gorman and Eric Erickson (Betty).
He is survived by: his children, Nils Erickson (Mary) of Lansing, Kirsten Erickson (Ed Cooke) of Bartlett, IL and Karri Preston Eckert (Ken) of Watertown, WI; his grandchildren, Stephan, Anna, Emily, Quincy, Keegan, Cameron, Max and Madeline; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Westley, Finley and Penelope. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church, Fisher House Wisconsin, or to the Wounded Warrior Project have been suggested.
