He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kay FitzGerald; his children, Christy (Tony Rickabaugh), Amy (Joe D'Arco), Joey and Megan (Peter); and his grandchildren, Alex, Jesse, Mia, Gio and Stella.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gibbons Family Funeral Home (5917 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60634).
