He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Frances; and his siblings, Florence Gruenwald (Arnold), John, Jacob (Evelyn), Joseph (Ursula), Bernice Jelinek (Robert), Evelyn Vavera (Laddie), Martin (Marie), George (Dolores) and Audrey Hagemann.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Teri Jacobson (Pete), Lori Schultz (Karl), Amy Kalski (Greg) and Mark (Julie); his grandchildren, Tyler Jacobson (Jennifer), Jason Jacobson (Jessica), Sarah Baumann (Matt), Kenny Schultz, Kristen Sauer (Jesse), Steven Schultz, Samantha Boortz (Bryce), Joey Kalski (Naomi), Josh Lewandowski (Carolyn), Collin and Caden Lewandowski; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Hagemann. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, he was lovingly known as "Papa".
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (13207 County Rd G, Caledonia, WI 53108). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (21731 Spring St, Union Grove, WI 53182). The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the same location.
