He is survived by: his wife Karen Nearing; his children, Thomas Knaus Jr. (Tammy) of Racine, Kevin Knaus (Clover) of Janesville, Kelly Knaus (Kylie) of Marine and Kacy Riley (Sean) of Middleton; his grandchildren, Taylor, Ava, Eire and Griffin; and his siblings, Donald Knaus (Katherine) of Racine and Kacy. He is also survived by other relatives and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers and memorials, the family suggests purchasing a lottery ticket and a fishing lure for yourself.
