With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elmer P. Karl of Cambria, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Karl and Mildred Karl (Abitz); his brother-in-law Gerald Kratz; and his niece Theresa Karl. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Karl of Cambria; his daughters, Stacy Braaksma (Lance) of Cambria, Michelle Vant Hoff (Pastor Darrin) of Friesland and Heidi Vos (Chad) of Westminster, CO; his grandchildren, Alanah Braaksma (Finn Geller), Paige Brandsma, Tyler Brandsma, Brandt Vos, Coral Vos and Reagan Chiles; and his siblings, Ervin Karl (Loretta), Ruth Kratz, Paul Karl (Evie) and Beatrice Rhode (Donald). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (N483 Co Rd M, Cambria, WI 53923). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
