He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Bobholz and Irene Bobholz (Simmons); and his siblings, Harold, Maurice, Helen Lindert (Vilas) and Norma Barnes.

He is survived by : his wife Millie of Cambria; his children, Donna Pollesch (Russell) of Salemville and James "Jimmer" Bobholz (Alona) of Cambria; and his grandchildren, Michael Pollesch (Griselda), Josh Pollesch (Anne), Nicki Winnie (David), Jaime and James Bobholz Jr. (Amorette). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
