He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edgar and Inez Emma Kuhn, Sr. (Paske); his stepfather Richard Hiller; his brother-in-law James Helm; and his friends, John and Connie Atkinson.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Kay Ritter of Pardeeville; his daughter Katie Austin (Frank) of DeForest; his grandchildren, Mikie and Haily; his son Joe Kuhn of New York; his siblings, Diane Helm of Portage, Steven of Colorado and Robert Kuhn of Colorado; and his nephew Jeremiah "Miah" Helm.
