He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zeimet and Catherine Zeimet (Kessenich); his wife Diane Grace (Olson); his children, Danny and Betsy; his grandson Joey; and his siblings, Catherine, David, Jim, Joseph and Veronica.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Zeimet (Terry), Tom Zeimet (Sandy), John Zeimet (Dawn), George Zeimet (Becka), Laurie Schwoerer (Paul) and Zach Zeimet (Julie); his grandchildren, Jenny Diggs (Brian), Rachel Culver (Evan), Billy Zeimet (Alyssa), Sara Tilton (Justin), Ryan Vingum (Sarah), Eric Vingum, Colten Vingum (Sam), Kyle Zeimet, Amanda Ninedorf (Brandon), Luke, Emily, Olivia (Kyle), Jacob, Daniel, Hannah, Gracie Zeimet, Ashley Gerhke (Ben), Tyler Schwoerer (Samantha), Ashley Thronson (Luke), Dylan, Cole Rickey, Taylor and Jack Zeimet; and his great grandchildren, Raiden, Abigail, William, Elisabeth, Brooklyn, James, Jameson, Kayden, Grady, Walker, Leighton, Banks, Vivian, Freya, Friedrich, Kason and Rhett.
In lieu of flowers, Dan's family asks that donations be made in his name to the Deerfield Community Center in Deerfield, WI, as this is a place that brought him great joy for more than 10 years.
