He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Jacobson and Eunice Jacobson (Kahl); his former wife Karen McElwaine; his wife Juanita DeMars; his sisters, Connie Lund (Ronnie) and Sue Fabry (Phil); his children, Clayton Jacobson, Joshua Jacobson (Alex), Tracy Jacobson (Joshua Lillie) and Casey Jacobson (Sarah); his stepchildren, Santiago DeMars and Celina Mattice (Jess); his grandchildren, Taylor, Josie, Abbie, Dominic, Ari, Finn, Dillion, Arianna, Gray, Greta and Colton; his sister Debbie Strehlo (Gus); and his stepfather Marshall Nogle. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (644 S 6th St, Barron, WI 54812). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 2712 Riverview Dr, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
