He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sanford; his children, Sheila Sprackling (Jim), Tia Moore (Jerry), Theresa Gerdes and Toni Johnson (Greg); his grandchildren, Teann, Derek Belcher (Katie), Lindsey Comrie (Scott), Austin Blencoe (Grace), Brenden Lacey (Leslie), Aysia Moore, Blake Moore, Leslie Olsen (Brandon), Kevin Gerdes, Jr., Samantha Johnson (Augustus) and Adam Johnson; his great grandchildren, Evalynn, Sophia, Zarya, Rowan, Elliott, Tucker, River James, Evelynn and Amelia; his siblings, Ellen Chapman (Gail) and Pete Peterson; his brother-in-law David Madison; and his pet Sylvia. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Torkelson Funeral Home (2224 Superior Ave, Tomah, WI 54660). The military honors was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
