He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schaeffer and Mildred Schaeffer (Hansen); and his brothers, George, Gerald and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Anna H. Kutz; his children, James Schaeffer (Kristy Hutchinson) of Oshkosh, Theresa Baerenwald (Bob) of Slinger and Kevin Schaeffer (Brittney) of Hartford; his grandchildren, Danielle, Rowen and Dylan; and his sister Arlene Vixmer (John) of Fond. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
