He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Heberer and Mildred Heberer; his wife Audrey Heberer; his daughter Linda Luterbach; his brothers, John Heberer Jr. and Steven Heberer; his grandson Craig Jung; his siblings-in-law, Mary Braun-Hackbarth, Alois Braun, George Reuter, Robert Reuter (Shirley) and Virgil Hackbarth; and his close friend Marie Heider.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Strupp (Randy) and Wendy Dondlinger (George); his son-in-law Paul Luterbach; his grandchildren, Sherry Luterbach, Bradley Luterbach (Bren), Andrea Eddy (Chad) and Jason Dondlinger (Jenna); his stepgrandchildren, Ross Strupp (Carrie) and Nichole Sanfilippo (Michael); his brothers, Norman Heberer (Maureen), Bill Heberer (Judy), Myron Heberer, Russell Heberer (LuAnn) and Terry Heberer (Sue); and his sister-in-law Deloris Reuter. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane are appreciated.
