She was predeceased by : her parents, Ira Cass and Hazel Cass (Velie); her husband Ruben Klitz; her daughters, Shirley Strassburg and Beverly Yaeger; her grandson Jeremy Yaeger; her sons-in-law, James Beaulieu, Wayne Yaeger, Otto Marquardt and Daniel Brandenburg; and her siblings, Virginia, Florence, Dorothy, Mary, Lula, Warren and Henry.

She is survived by : her children, Bonnie Ehlert (Russ), Elaine Beaulieu (Jack Nell), Dale Klitz, Jane Marquardt and Patsy Brandenburg; her son-in-law Kenneth Strassburg; her grandchildren, Wendy Schweighardt (Steve), Jeff Strassburg (Jeni), Joel Strassburg (Amanda), Christa Krause, Skeeter Beaulieu (Heather), Jay Teske (Missey) and Angie Brandenburg; her great grandchildren, Noah, Cody Schweighardt, Jacob, Alyssa Strassburg, Nathan, Kylie, Naomi, Elsie Bea, Molly Strassburg, Addison VanPay, Megan, Aidan Beaulieu and Jeffery Teske; her sister Arlis Kabble; and her sister-in-law Elaine Ann Klitz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Caroline.
