He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Heidel and Jeanette Heidel (Van Sluys); his siblings, Kathlyn and Alvin; and his brother-in-law Leroy Cravens.

He is survived by : his wife Angelita Heidel (Tolentino) of Plymouth; his children, Thelma Heidel-Baker (Ricky Baker) of Random Lake, Johann Heidel of Adell, Melissa (Heidel) and Hills (Kyle Hills) of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Ava, Arthur Baker and Ellis Hills; his sister Karen Cravens (Heidel) of Corunna; and his nephew Brian Cravens. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close cousins, and lots of friends.
