She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Parins and Malvina Parins (Chaudoir); her husband Joseph F. Vlies Jr.; her children, Patricia Groy (Vlies), Kenneth "Cowboy" Vlies and Ronald Vlies; her grandchildren, Timothy and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Alex Parins Jr., James Parins and Bernice Guilette (George).
She is survived by: her children, James Vlies (Gaye), Joseph Vlies III, Cindy Vlies and Becky Hietpas (Joe); her grandchildren, Michelle Dorner (Todd), Kevin Vlies, Ken Vlies (Gena), Dustin Vlies, Jessica Paral (Don), Laura Vlies, Jeff Vlies (Pepe), Todd Vlies (Missy), Amy Laluzerne (Dean), Jennifer Vlies, Autum Noskowiak (Andy), Tyler Zima (McKenzie), Scott Hietpas (Megan) and Heidi Schaefer (Ryan); her daughters-in-law, Jeannie Vlies and Marcia Vlies; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Parins and Mary Ann Bader. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
