John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. Deitelhoff and Florence G. Deitelhoff (Rockweiler); and his brothers, Daniel and Frederick Deitelhoff. He is survived by: his wife Rita Rockweiler (Wiedenfeld); and his siblings, James, Leonard (Susan), Dennis (Rita), Ruth Klang (Bruce) and Bernard (Cyndi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (310 Bluff St, La Valle, WI 53941).
