He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan and Irene. He is survived by: his wife Susan Parnitzke; his daughters, Kelly Soerens (Travis), Brittany Posthuma (Josh) and Cary Voskuil; his grandchildren, Jenna, Lucy, Easton, Harper Soerens, Ryan, Reese and Rayna Posthuma; his brothers, Neil Voskuil (Bonnie) and Dale Voskuil (Renee); his father-in-law Robert Parnitzke; his sisters-in-law, Bev Voskuil and Lisa Leadholm (John); and his nephew Daniel Voskuil. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

For memorial contributions, the family has designated Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
