She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester DuMez and Jeanette DuMez; her husband Garret J. Hoitink; her brother Carl DuMez; and her siblings-in-law, William Van Wyk, Walton Walvort, Willard Veldman, John Hoitink and Ethel DuMez.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hoitink (Kay) of Rogers, MN, Laurie Wensink (Mike) of Eau Claire, WI, Sandy Zelm (Dan) of Sheboygan, WI and Randy Hoitink of Hudson, WI.; her grandchildren, Aaron Hoitink (Megan), Andrew Hoitink (Megan), Christopher Wensink (Kara), Chad Wensink (Helienna), Paula Molosky (Tom), Jenna Zelm and Holly Hoitink; and her sisters-in-law, Neva Walvort of Sheboygan Falls and Shirley Hoitink of Cedar Grove.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at 136 W Union Ave, Cedar Grove, WI 53013.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Joan's memory for Calvary OPC and Campus Life in Sheboygan.
