He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ruth Lucile Henkel; his wife Joan Henkel; his sons, John Henkel (Tedan) and Daniel Henkel (Michelle); his grandchildren, Saoirse and Keenan; his siblings, Marilyn Roberto and Father Bill Burkert; and his father Tom Devries.
