He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Landers and Elaine Landers; his brother Greg Landers; and his brother-in-law Bill Bargenquast. He is survived by: his siblings, Diane Bargenquast and David Landers; his nieces and nephews, Mark Bargenquast (Lisa), Bridget Stiffler (Robert), Charles Summers (Danielle), Lindsay Lanser (Edward) and Logan Landers; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava Bargenquast, Brayden Bargenquast, Alexandra Banks, Javon Holz, Isaiah Holz, McKenzie Schmidt and Jeremiah Summers; and his sister-in-law Lauren Landers. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
