She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Meinert and Dorothy Meinert; her husband Robert "Whitey" Haas; her brothers, Richard and Rex Meinert; and her nephews, Louis and David Meinert.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Nothem (Dennis) and Dale Haas; her grandchildren, Sarah Byrne (Kevin), Matt Nothem (Robyn), Jared Nothem (Brittany), Casey Haas (Susan) and Jacob Haas (Emily); her sisters, Betty Spaltner and Joan Wolterstorff (Jim); and her sister-in-law Nancy Meinert. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
