He was predeceased by: his parents, John Petzkow and Margaret Petzkow. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Petzkow; his children, Joseph Petzkow (Lori) of Cedarburg and Kathi Porath (Scott) of Friendship; his grandsons, Matthew Van Pietersom (Caryn) and Andrew Van Pietersom (Phanhia); his great grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Ethan and Nate; and his siblings, Tom Petzkow (late Marilyn) of Lake Tomahawk and Margaret Schroeder (late Richard) of Hartland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
