With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Joanne Scheffel of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Joanne left this world on April 28, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gustav Scheffel and Eleanore Scheffel (Long); her siblings, Don Scheffel, Richard and Barbara Elliott; her niece Eleanore Elliott; and her nephew Scott Scheffel.

She is survived by : her brother Mark Scheffel (Linda); her nieces and nephews, Mary Elliott, Susan Winter (Jerry), Joanne Winnega (Dennis), Patti Elliott (Jim Christensen), Kelly Scheffel, Terry Scheffel (Wendy), Don Scheffel, Jody Scheffel, Howard Elliott III (Linda), Douglas Elliott (Leia), William Elliott, Richard Elliott (Barb Mand), David Elliott (Randal Herrin) and Nick Scheffel (Kelli Howe); and her cousins, Fred, Vicky, Rick, Jeff, Jim, Tom and Sandy. She is also survived by 17 great-nieces and nephews; 9 great-grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ozaukee Congregational Church (1142 Lakefield Rd, Grafton, WI 53024). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made on behalf of Mary to Horizon's Lawlis Family Hospice.
