He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hamer Hauswirth; his children, Steve Hauswirth (Robin) of Hayward Wisconsin and Cynthia Thornton (Matt) of Eagle; his nephew Doug (Brenda) of Onalaska; and his niece Treena Schneyer (Jeff) of La Crosse.
