Jene R. Popowich Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jene R. Popowich of Chetek, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Jene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jene has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Popowich and Sara Popowich (Finley); and his siblings, Russell, Gail, Rose and Roxanne.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Steve Popowich (Sandi), Cindy Hartman (Carl) and Scott Popowich (Kimberley); and his siblings, Roger, Greg, Gloria and Roberta. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
