With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Solum of Chetek, Wisconsin, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter N. Schlink and Beverly J Schlink (Sly); and her siblings, Connie Tankersby and Peter A. Schlink. She is survived by: her husband Edward Lance Solum III of Chetek, WI; her sister Cecilia Walls of Janesville, WI; her children, Edward Peter Solum IV of Cameron, WI, Tamra (Charles LaRue) of Chetek, WI, Kimberly (Tommy Sztuba) of Chetek, WI, Lynette (Steve Posta) of Rice Lake, WI, Kitty Krueger (Ryan) of Eau Claire, WI and Tyrrell Solum (Amanda) of Chetek, WI.; her grandchildren, Zackary, Kyler, Chandler, Skyler, Pazely, Jaxton, Bailey and Briella; her stepgrandchildren, Misti and Chaela LaRue; and her sisters-in-law, Treva A. Solum of Chetek, WI and Betty N. Hazen of Menomonie, WI.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home (206 Schofield St, Chetek, WI 54728). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
