With solemn reverence, we commemorate Darlene Lund of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on October 13, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Geissler and Irene Geissler (Kastel); her husband Morrie Lund; and her siblings, Randy Geissler, Roger "Butch" Geissler, Leonard "Huntz" Geissler, Jr., Delores Follensbee and Lois "Bernie" Erickson.
She is survived by: her children, John Lund (Patti), Jim Lund (Mary), David Lund (Norma), Jayne Erickson (Doug), Geri Grubba (Gary), Susie Frank (Ken) and Ann Mueller (John); and her siblings, Dick Geissler (Donna), Ronnie Geissler (Sandy), Marv Geissler (Denise), Brad Geissler (Donna), Brian Geissler (Kris), Judy Shaffer (Gene) and Diane Geissler. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren plus one on the way, and 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Horan Funeral Home (420 Bay St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (117 Allen St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
