We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2024 we had to say goodbye to David J. Gunderson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of our hearts. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Hilman Gunderson and Edna Gunderson (Sykora); and his brother Robert Gunderson. He is survived by : his children, Lee Gunderson (Kristin Yaeger) of Chippewa Falls, Matthew Gunderson (Ashley) of Greenville, WI and Caitlyn Lantz of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Austin and Aria Gunderson; his brother Eugene Gunderson (Lucy) of Chippewa Falls; and his sister-in-law Patricia Gunderson of Chippewa Falls. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cooks Valley Cemetery (3910 135th Ave, Bloomer, WI 54724).
