She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Najbrt and Geraldine Najbrt; her husband Gordon; her brother Gregory (Najbrt); and her brothers-in-law, Mitch Mitchell and Mike Hangartner.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louise Sadlovsky (Elmer), Christine Mickelson (James), Gloria Hangartner, Darlene Mitchell and Douglas Najbrt (Patricia); and her sister-in-law Carol Kurtzbein (Don). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Heart Association, or a Cancer Association or donor's choice.
