With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris E. Johnson (Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Iris may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Iris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Salzwedel and Esther Salzwedel (Walter); and her sister Corrine Melby (Dennis). She is survived by: her husband Larry; and her cousins, Lamay Hansen and Beverly Rodgers.
