He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Morrell and Grace Morrell (Wallin); his brothers, John, Bob and Don (Darlene); and his son Steven.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Lea (Pete) and John Morrell (Julie); his grandchildren, Maurita Burzynski (Nick), Zachary Lea, Jennifer Nelson (Brandon), Hannah Riley (Matt), Mitchell, Nick and Parker Morrell; his great grandchildren, Alex, Gabriel, Theodore, Lilly Burzynski, Jack, Eric, Joseph Riepe, Jaisley Nelson, Malachi, Noah and Ruby Riley; his sisters, Patricia Brown and Virginia Nunke; and his sister-in-law Joann Rasmus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
