We bid farewell to Joanne M. Oleson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Joanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Girard and Louise Girard (Ferg); and her brother Earl Girard. She is survived by: her children, Eric Oleson (Georgie) of Gordon, WI and Patti Schneider (Brian) of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Olivia, Ellie Schneider, Amber, Nicole and Kacey Block; and her siblings, Don Girard (Fran) of Chippewa Falls, Carolyn Opocensky of Ramona, CA and Ken Girard of Plymouth, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (412 S Main St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
Memorials will be directed to Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
