It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph S. Rasmussen (Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Rasmussen and Leona Rasmussen (Tauer); and his wife Marilyn Herbst of Paul's Cathedral. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Redland (Roger); his grandchildren, Christopher Kopelke (Isabel) and Cara Frokjer (Colin); and his great grandchild Paul Kopelke.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel (44 E Columbia St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your local animal shelter.
