She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Jennifer Beety-Forrest (Anthony) of Washington, DC, Dominic Sturm (Erica) of Stanley and Ryan Sturm (Heidi) of Chippewa Falls; her grandchildren, Chase, Aaron, Lidya, Brody, Coby and Tate Sturm; and her siblings, Julie Schmidt (Curt) of St. Paul, MN, Trudy Vrieze (John Jordan) of Duluth, MN, John Vrieze of Baldwin and Peter Vrieze (Mary Toberman) of New Richmond. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (11591 17th Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to Smile Train, which Kris supported for many years.
