It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine J. Pontius of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Erickson and Anna Erickson (Carlson); her husband John Pontius; and her brother Richard Erickson (Alzada). She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Hladish (Brad) of Prescott, WI and Linda Mattison (Rick) of Green Bay, WI; her grandchildren, Adam Hladish (Jessica), Joshua Hladish (Stacey), Jenna Mattison Bader (Eric) and Samuel Mattison (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Etta, Knox, Miles, Malia, Oliver, Jackson, Addison and Charlie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Irvine Park.
