As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Lyria Palas; his sons, Chris, Ben and Dan Magyar (Kirsten); his grandson Lane; and his brother Greg Magyar (Sharon).
Memorials may be made to the Ice Age Trail Alliance to continue preservation and access for all to Wisconsin's natural beauty.
