We bid farewell to Ronald L. Ruf of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 22, 2025 at the age of 64. Ronald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ruf and Helen Ruf (Kouba); his son Benjamin; his sister Rhonda Ruf; his parents-in-law, Cyril and Ann Schemenauer; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Byron Schemenauer.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Schemenauer; his sons, Michael Ruf (Cassie) and Zachariah Ruf (Emily Zawacki); his grandchildren, Everett and Camden Ruf; his siblings, Renee David (Blane), Rick Ruf (Jennifer), Russell Ruf (Sarah) and Rachel McKay (Todd); his niece Ann David (Peter Kopperud); his nephew Andrew Ruf (Erica); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nora, Will, Rylee and Ainsley; his nieces and nephews, Katie, Claire Ruf, Christian Ruf (Lisa), Emily Ashton (Brandon), John Ruf (Theresa), Mary Schwetz (Joe), Lucy Foos (Walter), Theresa, Grace, Joseph, Abby, Teddy Ruf, Macy and Ella McKay; his sisters-in-law, Suzie Prince (Doug) and Colleen Schemenauer; and his aunt Fran Girard (Don). He is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter Catholic Cemetery fund or to Notre Dame Children Trust Fund.
