Ruth Anne Gilbertson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, at the age of 78, Ruth Anne Gilbertson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Anne Gilbertson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Gilbertson and Lorraine Gilbertson (Gilstad); and her sister Dianne Jones. She is survived by: her husband John Lauson; her stepson Aaron Lauson (Ann Kendall) of Edina, MN; her son Jones Lauson; her stepdaughter Jill (Doug) of Grand View, WI; her stepgranddaughter Jetty Lauson of Seattle; her sister Kathy Gilbertson Tanner of Chippewa Falls; her sibling's children, Lori Borders, Rachel Tanner (Nathan Verbracken) and Johnathan Tanner (Brandi Nicolai); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica, Janie Borders, Sawyer, Charlotte Patrow and Dawson Tanner. She is also survived by godchildren, many other relatives.

Memorials will be directed to the Chippewa County Foundation to support programs such as Mentor Chippewa and other programs used to benefit projects focusing on children in Chippewa County.
